Helpful Tips for Video Submissions

  • Keep it short

    • one video of 3 minutes in length maximum

    • or two videos of maximum 2 minutes each

    *exception*: for park / freestyle videos (jumps, rails, boxes, etc.)

    • up to 10 videos of up to 20 seconds each can be uploaded

    • Minimum 720p video quality - anything less makes it difficult to analyze

    • Whenever possible, film on sunny days

    • Try to avoid filming in flat light, in the fog/clouds, or on stormy days

    • Make sure the rider is centered and visible (including the board)

    • Ask your filmer to film from below, and ride towards, by and past them

    • Keep the camera stable, and please try to avoid sending shaky footage

    Please note that we will not be able to analyze poor quality videos, and will need to ask for a resubmission.

    Please do not upload selfies or selfie footage from 360cams

    • Ride safely! - avoid being filmed in crowded areas

    • Film safely! - be visible and out of the way while filming.

    *DO NOT STAND WHERE YOU CANNOT BE SEEN FROM ABOVE!*

    (ex: behind a roller, behind a jump, around a blind corner…)

    • Ride within your ability

    • Do not attempt things you are not comfortable doing or lack the skills to do
